Eurojuris Congress Athens 2008

Eurojuris Congress Athens 2008

The Union for the Mediterranean is a proposed community of European Union member states and countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea planned to be established in July 2008. The proposal was originally made by French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The UM would consist of all the EU states and those countries on the Mediterranean willing to participate. The idea is to form a bridge between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Eurojuris was a pioneer, for the legal sphere, in 1992 when the European Union's single market was established. We believe that the Euro-Med cooperation is likely to generate many opportunities for our members and their clients. We wish to be at the eve of the process, accompanying EU investors in the Mediterranean area and helping Mediterranean companies to develop in Europe. There is a reason why we hold our congress in Athens. Greece has always been a historical crossroad for business between Europe and the Mediterranean countries. Athens 2008 will be a bridge for us to explore opportunities provided by this emerging market. In Athens at the end of October, the weather can still be very nice!!! Take a sunny break before entering the dark winter time. The beach resort will be a great opportunity for networking. Be sure you book your flight and hotel well in advance to get the best prices! The hotel is situated on the sea side and you are half an hour away from the very busy city center, so you can visit and then relax in the wonderful spa with some treatments you can book in advance.
